Blog 5 I learned something!

Well the end of another class and the time to begin my weekly blog. Today we covered imbedded text, the use of sound in director, and masks in Photoshop and the possible practical applications for surgical lasers in practical jokes.

The last one wasn’t done in class if at all.

I made great use of my time I shot/ animated a rocket out of the toilet with sound effects and minor behaviour commands like go to frame and exit.

The one thing that we couldn’t figure out was why the exit command wouldn’t take to the sprite. This problem was solved by shutting the program down opening it up again and following the steps through again except of applying it to a sprite apply it to a lump of text. Once I had the correct command in the cast as a function I just applied it back on to the sprite.

The house project is due next week and I just have to script/ lingo the abomination together with all my pretty little arrows and thingies and what ever else it is I need to do before 2pm next week.

So I'll keep doing my thing until it becomes impractical, impossible or illegal.
My money is on option 1

good stuff erik, fwiw, this entry is 200+ words, enough of these and you'll have the beginings of a small thesis
